Summary: Ghetsis sits upon his frigid throne, content in the power that he wields.
Ghetsis sits on a frigid throne, in a land that's nearly as frozen as his heart.
The people of Unova should have accepted his will, all along. Now, they have no choice. Struggling to survive in the barren, frosty waste that once was Unova, they can consider themselves fortunate that their lives have been spared. Thus far, that is. One wrong move, just one wrong move, and that could easily change.
No one dares to stand up against Ghetsis, however. Not anymore, while every settlement has a warning set up where all can see. The bodies of former Gym Leaders, encased in ice, cautioning all who see them to keep on Ghetsis' good side. With them in constant sight of the populace, their perpetual submission is guaranteed. Commands are obeyed almost as soon as they're given.
Ghetsis is satisfied, for the time being. While there was resistance, initially, he now holds all of Unova within his grasp. Ruling it, as he was always meant to do. Far more publicly than he'd intended.
But his puppet had outlived its usefulness. Such a pity. N had such potential as a leader who could win over hearts and minds. If only his conscience hadn't emerged. He'd gone from being Ghetsis' most valuable asset, to a useless liability.
Well, that loose end has been secured. The ice statue that once was N now graces Ghetsis' throne room. If nothing else, he makes a charming decoration. A fitting trophy, to cement Ghetsis' victory.
Ghetsis sits upon his frigid throne, content in the power that he wields. All of Unova huddles in their homes, quaking with fear and with cold, wondering whether their land will ever thaw out again.
If Ghetsis has his way, it never will.
